  • For more than 20 years the Rooftop Crawfish Boil has been a favorite Downtown Lafayette tradition. It’s the ultimate rooftop party known for unbeatable views, great music, and some of the best crawfish in town; all while supporting a clean, safe, and vibrant Downtown!

    Join us on the rooftop of the Parc Auto du Centre-Ville Garage, next to Parc Sans Souci, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm for an evening that feels like peak Downtown. Located right in the heart of ongoing redevelopment, this rooftop celebration offers views of Vermilion Street, the brand new Dirk Guidry mural at the Children's Museum of Acadiana, the beautiful Parc Sans Souci playground, and the construction happening on the site of Hotel Lafayette.

    Six hundred Downtown lovers, one rooftop, and a whole lot of good energy make it a night worth talking about all crawfish season long.

    The party begins at 5:30pm, with crawfish served at 6:30pm. Each ticket includes a tray of premium crawfish with potatoes, corn, and dip, plus all-you-can-drink water, soda, seltzer, and beer. If you are only making it to one crawfish boil this season, this is the one.

It aims to create cohesion amongst Downtown business leaders, advocate for their success, and market the district’s assets. DLU strives to provide the private sector leadership and coordination needed for revitalization efforts, working hand in hand with the Downtown Development Authority to build a strong public-private partnership in downtown improvements. Membership is comprised of individuals and businesses from across Lafayette.
